UEFA charges Basle FC after pitch invaders confronted Ronaldo

UEFA has charged Basle FC after a number of their fans ran onto the pitch to confront Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo during a Champions League match.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Real Madrid’s 1 – 0 win against Basle, saw over five spectators invade the football pitch before stewards intervened.
According to reports, the UEFA disciplinary panel will announce its verdict in the case on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
