Music: DNA (@DNAForeverr) – African man (Prod by Kenny Wonder)

DNA Foreverr debuts with a nicely crafted afro-pop sound titled ‘African Man’. The song which contains local African drums, flutes and chants is completed with interesting verses delivered in Nigerian Pidgin English and his local dialect, Idoma. This picture of an African man is the best yet in the gallery, thanks to witty lines like; “we fit no toast chik, but we go marry wife/ we no fit smoke here, ‘cos NEPA carry light”, spread throughout the track.
The rapper/singer/songwriter, whose real names are Apostle Okpe Mathews, has been recording since 2008, performing and writing for other artistes in Jos and Abuja. Now based in Lagos, DNA teams up with monster hit maker and longtime collaborator Kenny Wonder to bring you a joint worthy of multiple replays. Enjoy African Man.
