Hon. Kolawole Lawal Mob’Olorunduro (KLM has enjoined constituents who engage in local businesses as well as those involved in trans-border business activities to remain calm following the temporary closure of all international borders across country which have in turn affected business activities within Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency.
The temporary closure according to him, is for the benefit of all.
Although he acknowledges and appreciates the fact that the temporary closure has affected (and continues to affect) economic activities but from the telephone engagement with the Customs Controller in charge of Idiroko area and other relevant security agencies, he however assured that a fruitful resolution which will not only be of mutual benefit to all concerned but also enhance security and promote good inter border relationship is on the horizon.
While beseeching the good people of Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency to refrain from any acts of violence at this period, he equally appeals to the men of the Nigeria Customs Service and all task forces deployed to the border areas for the reason of the closure to allow commuters and local businesses to continue their daily business unhindered in relation to local agricultural and allied produc nuts.
