“I Suffered REAL PAIN After My Untimely Divorce With Marc Anthony” – Singer Jennifer Lopez Reveals
Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she suffered
“real pain” when she divorced her last husband,
Marc Anthony in 2012.
In the Wednesday’s premiere of the HBO
Documentary, Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again,
cameras showed how the singer experienced
pure “pain” when separating and divorcing from
her husband.
“That wasn’t my dream. My dream was for us to
always be together. You never want to break up
family,” Jennifer Lopez shared with the cameras.
The singer in the documentary also revealed that
her first world tour after the divorce still couldn’t
help her to take her mind off her marital woes.
“I remember being on the set and being in my
dressing room and not feeling like I could get up
in the morning and there’s just no pain like that.
There’s no pain or failure like going through a
divorce,” she explained.
“That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that
first time that dream gets blown to pieces, and
you feel like you’re going to die. You feel like you
failed. You feel like no matter how hard I tried, I
couldn’t make it work,” she added.
After two failed marriages, Jennifer Lopez married
Marc Anthony in June 2004 but divorced in 2012.
They have two children together, twins,
Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, born in
February 2008.
