“I didn’t promise anyone a Grammy award, I promised myself” – 9ice

Singer Abolore Akande popularly known as 9ice has said he still plans to venture into politics.

The singer said this on Sunday while speaking on Rubbin Minds.

9ice stated that the Nigerian entertainment industry was growing but lack good structure.

On his new style of music, the Alapomeji crooner stated that Nigerians are no more interested in lyrics but beats, rhythm and melody.

He also clarified certain terms used in his latest hit “Living things” which cause controversies on the internet.

He added that rapper Falz was not referring to him when he said some artistes were praising scammers and fraudsters.

He also revealed that his album “Greatest of All Time” will be released in September.

9ice also said he didn’t promised anyone a Grammy Award, stating that he was only “thinking aloud.”
