Nigeria’s blogger, Linda Ikeji won the bidding war for a dress donated by one of Nigeria’s foremost designers, Lanre Dasilva Ajayi to raise funds for the fight against Ebola at the Future Awards Africa 2014 edition last night, December 7, 2014 at Intercontinental Hotels, VI, Lagos.

Comedian Bovi was invited to handle the auction and he started with a price tag of N200,000 for the dress. Although the bidders were anonymous until the end, Linda Ikeji upped the bid with a stake of N500,000 just as someone else also raised it higher with N750,000 before the popular blogger finally clinched it with a bid of N1m.

Lanre Dasilva Ajayi, also known as LDA, donated the dress to help raise funds to make a difference in the lives of those living under the threat of the deadly disease in West Africa.
