Sterling Bank gross earnings up by 35%

STERLING Bank Plc has reported a 35.9 percent growth in gross earnings to N77.6 billion in the first half ended June 30, 2018 from N57.1 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2017. Sterling Investment SPV Plc, a special purpose vehicle floated by Sterling Bank Plc, listed its N32.899 billion Series II, seven-year 16.25 per cent fixed rate unsecured bonds on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). Six commercial banks have made payments totaling N155.45 billion into the sinking fund of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) within three years, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports.
